Welcome to VeriSure ("we," "our," "us").

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VeriSure mobile application (“App”) and related services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately

Eligibility

To use this App, you must be of the minimum age required by law in your country or location to provide consent. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you do not meet the legal age requirement, you are prohibited from using the App.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing:

  • Full Name

  • Username

  • Email Address

  • Date of Birth (optional)

  • Country (optional)

You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Misuse, impersonation, or false registration may result in suspension.

Keeping Your Account Secure

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and ensuring that no unauthorized person gains access to it. If you suspect any security breach or unauthorized use of your account, you must inform us immediately at info@veri-sure.com.au. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials.

Services Provided

Our App facilitates the ability for individuals to record peer-to-peer participation in consent education through the generation of a QR code / identification number. Users who register their country during sign-on will have access to "safe space" functionality, allowing them to designate a contact who will receive SMS alerts through the application's "Safe Space" feature (limited to one alert per day).  
This feature is not an emergency service. Users remain responsible for contacting law enforcement when required.

Affiliated Companies

This application is part of Emerging Consulting Group and may collaborate with affiliated companies to provide certain services. Your use of the App may involve interactions with third-party services, infrastructure, or data processing managed by affiliated companies or service providers.

Use of third-party services remains subject to their policies.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App if you are under the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction.

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information.

  • Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities.

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or endanger other users.

  • Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers.

  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Violation of these conditions may result in account suspension and referral to the relevant authorities.

Enabling Access to Our Services

To operate and provide our Services efficiently, we may store, process, and distribute content and information using data centers and infrastructure across multiple jurisdictions, including outside your country of residence. This infrastructure is essential for our Services and may be owned or operated by us, our affiliated companies, or third-party service providers.

Privacy Policy

We collect and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your personal information is stored securely and used solely to facilitate the functionalities of the App. We do not sell your personal data.

User-Generated Content (New)

If you upload or share content (such as learning diaries or discussion notes), you grant VeriSure and Emerging Consulting Group a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process it for educational and product-improvement purposes.
All shared content must respect intellectual property and privacy laws.

VeriSure Bot Advice Disclaimer

The VeriSure Bot provides educational material and links to trusted sources. AI-guided responses are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute legal, psychological, or emergency advice.
Users are responsible for verifying any information before acting upon it.

Safe Space Disclaimer

The Safe Space feature provides a support notification system only. It does not monitor safety conditions or alert emergency services automatically.

SMS alerts are dependent on network availability and user device permissions. VeriSure bears no responsibility for missed or failed transmissions.

Profile Management

You may edit your profile information at any time within the App. However, your date of birth and country must remain accurate.

Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and content within VeriSure are the exclusive property of Emerging Consulting Group. Users may not use, reproduce, or distribute VeriSure trademarks or visual materials without written consent.

Devices and Software

You must provide the necessary devices, software, and data connections to use our Services. We do not supply these. By using our Services, you consent to the automatic or manual downloading and installation of updates as required. We may also send you necessary notifications to ensure continued functionality.

Emergencies

In case of an emergency, please contact your local law enforcement authorities or emergency services. The App is not designed to provide emergency response services.

Fees and Taxes

  • Fees: In the future, access to certain features of the App may require payment. We will notify you of any fees associated with your use of the App before they are applied.

  • Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or other charges incurred while using the App. These may include, but are not limited to, carrier data plans, internet service fees, or other costs related to your access to our Services.

Termination and Right to Erasure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse of the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

 Disclaimers

  • The App provides a technological framework to record peer-to-peer learning.

  • We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the use of this educational App.

  • Users are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws in their jurisdiction.

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall VeriSure, its affiliates, or their licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App;

  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the App;

  • Any content obtained from the App; and

  • Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved through confidential arbitration in Sydney, NSW. Users waive participation in class actions or jury trials to the extent permitted by law.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any modifications. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.

Legal Compliance

VeriSure is an educational platform and does not provide legal validation of consent. Our App in no way replaces legal requirements for consent. Consent must comply with legal principles and users remain responsible for ensuring their actions comply with all applicable laws.

License to Use

VeriSure grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the App except as permitted by law.
